Partnered post on behalf of The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are my own.
The appeal of this weekend’s big game for me is all in the commercials, in fact, it’s solely in the commercials. Advertisers launch such clever, heartfelt and memorable advertising campaigns!
This year Coca-Cola has us rooting for the underdog, and I love a good underdog story, don’t you? A football player who’s never done anything but be a bench warmer is unexpectedly put into the game, catches a fumble and takes the opportunity of a lifetime to score a touchdown.
It’s called “Going All the Way,” and it’s a 60-second spot with heart. Take a look:
The best part of the ad is what happens when people share it via the YouTube video. Coca-Cola will donate $50,000 to the BGCA Triple Play program once the spot reaches 10,000 shares online.
BGCA enables young people to achieve great futures and provides them with supportive relationships, enrichment programs and a safe and positive environment to make new friends. The Coca-Cola Company is a founding sponsor of the BGCA Triple Play program, which encourages young people to eat a balanced diet, become more physically active and increase their ability to engage in healthy relationships.
Here’s a little look behind the scenes:
Will you be watching the big game this weekend? Coca-Cola’s “Going All The Way” ad will be airing during the second half, so keep an eye out for it.
I hope you’ll join me in sharing the YouTube video link to trigger donation to BGCA.
The program really does wonderful things with young people and it’s well worth supporting, especially when it’s as simple as sharing a video link.
