Get ready, sleuthers! This Sunday, August 4th, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is taking over Hallmark Channel in a very special presentation of Candace Cameron Brue’s Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse! I had a chance to preview it and you don’t want to miss it! (More on that below.)
Normally Aurora Teagarden Mysteries air exclusively on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel, but I realize not everyone has that channel in their current cable line-up. Good news for everyone! In the special presentation takeover, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse will air on Hallmark Channel too!
So, if you’ve never been able to see any of Candace’s Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, now’s your chance to watch the movie premiere of Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Game of Cat and Mouse on Hallmark Channel this Sunday August 4th at 9pm/8c.
I watched the movie in advance so I could give you an exclusive first look and my thoughts on the movie. I don’t want to give too much away, but I have to tell you about the creepy and cryptic clues being found at the crime scenes. Within the first few minutes of the movie, things went from romantic to deadly and this note was left at the scene:
I am half agony
Half hope
Tell me not
That I am too late
How creepy is that?!
Aurora is determined to figure out who’s behind the creepiness: When the people closest to Aurora become targets, the “game” appears to point to a planned murder. And when it appears that jealousy over Aurora’s new relationship with Professor Nick Miller might be the driving force for the crime sprees, things get especially dangerous. Let’s hope Aurora isn’t the next victim!
This is a super fun mystery to solve along with Aurora and although I usually figure a few things out when watching Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies, this one had me fooled!
As always, the wonderful Marilu Henner plays Aurora’s mother and adds her own special spice to the movie. It’s a really fun one so don’t miss it!
