The best book recommendations come from friends, right? My problem is that I either forget the book’s name soon after hearing it, or I jot it down on a paper scrap never to be seen again.
Thank goodness there’s an app for that now – RECO, and it’s the best thing to happen to books since well, books themselves.
This is a partnered post. All opinions are my own.
RECO is a social-centric book recommendations app from Indigo. Create a profile and then connect with friends, family and other app users. If you choose to sign in with your Facebook account, you’ll connect with friends even faster!
By selecting your reading interests in RECO and following other users with like-minded interests, your content will be personalized and curated.
Don’t want to follow anybody right off the bat? That’s ok! You can browse by genre, featured lists or even hunt through bestsellers. I went right to psychological thrillers, my favorite genre, and I found four books I neeeeed.
To add a title to your list of books to read, simple tap on the + sign by the book cover image. Then you’ll always have your TBR list with you on your phone!
If you must have a book immediately, there’s an option to click “buy” (but you don’t have to). If you do choose to buy, you’ll whoosh away to your favorite online bookseller to complete the purchase. It’s that easy!
Once you read a book, share it as a “reco” on RECO with a rating and your two cents.
The RECO app is the best way to discover new books to read, and it’s beautifully and intuitively designed. I can’t “recommend” it enough, (see what I did there?) especially since it’s FREE. No more wasting time hunting for books to read or taking chances. The RECO app can help you read better books more often.
Download the app at reco.com (iOS and Android), create your profile and start sharing book recommendations!
