Listen, we’re all human. Treats are all around us this time of year and they’re hard to resist. I mean, have you seen my mom’s recipes lately? Heaven help us all.

Luckily, there are some cool new solutions out there for curbing your appetite and I had the pleasure of trying one of them recently.

They’re called MealEnders, and they’re appetite-curbing lozenges that you pop in your mouth after a meal. The first layer is a sweet, dessert-flavored coating to quell your sugar cravings, and inside is a minty, tingly lozenge that signals to your body that the meal is over.

MealEnders

MealEnders come in four flavors: Cinnamon, Mocha, Chocolate Mint and Citrus

You know how it takes your brain a little while to catch up with your stomach and signal that you’re full? MealEnders occupy your tastebuds during those 20 minutes so that you won’t overeat. Cool!

MealEnders come in four flavors: Cinnamon, Mocha, Chocolate Mint and Citrus. My personal fave is the Chocolate Mint!

Wanna try some yourself? Visit the MealEnders website to pick some up at 20% off with discount code FitHolidays20, and enter our giveaway for one bag of each flavor of MealEnders!

My guilty indulgence over the holidays is hot, fresh, home made peach cobbler. We make this at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is absolutely my favorite dish, especially with a bunch of real whipped topping.

I usually don’t have dessert right after a meal at any point, but later at night it turns into a snack and I am quite likely to be found with a bowl of sea salt caramel truffle ice cream in my hands. I’m not sure how guilty I feel about it though. Probably not enough. 😉
