The best gifts come from the heart, and that’s why Hallmark Recordable Storybooks are so well-loved. You can capture the voices of the ones you love and read together, even if you’re miles apart!
There are currently 28 different storybooks from which to choose, six of which are holiday titles. And some of the books in the collection feature music!
I chose two storybooks in order to get a closer look. I chose the beloved classic, Goodnight Moon and a holiday title, The Very First Christmas, which features music.
The books are sturdy and they have thicker board book style pages, so they can handle the slightly rougher page turns of young children.
Attached to the bottom of the books and visible from each page, is the recording box.
Easy to Record! For each page you wish to record, press REC, wait for the prompt, and then read slowly and clearly. When finished reading, press stop. Do the same thing for each page! If you make a mistake, simply re-record that page. No need to start over from the beginning of the book.
Also, the book can be recorded over and over. There are tips inside the book on how to erase the recordings, and how to lock recordings from being accidentally erased.
I’m a super sentimental person, so these storybooks truly touch my heart.
I think they would be such a wonderful way for deployed military members to stay connected to their children, and a lovely way for distant grandparents to share their love with their grandchildren.

I received a storybook bundle for myself in order to facilitate the review. All opinions expressed in this post are my own.
