Beginning Monday, July 23rd Oxygen airs a six-part docu-series on adoption: I’m Having Their Baby.
Sensitive issue? Oh yes.
Adoption is a hot button issue for many.
Each of the six episodes will feature 2 pregnant women who have entered into the adoption process and are dealing with the emotions and decisions that will forever affect their life and that of their unborn child.
The women featured had already sought out an adoption agency when they were approached to participate in the show. (Two of them were under-age, but they had parental consent to be a part of it.)
But each of the birth mothers wanted to openly share their honest and personal story as they struggled with an unplanned pregnancy, and whether or not to place their baby for adoption.
The point of the series is to authentically (and without judgment or an agenda) show the personal journeys and the heart-wrenching emotional decisions which led these women to the adoption process.
