Have you ever said yes to something and then instantly realized the consequences of saying yes are bad, oh so very bad?

I was on twitter the other day and saw a tweet from my friend, Stesha. She mentioned that she was starting the 30 day shred on August 1st. Before I could even think about it, my fingers were flying over the keys as if they had a life of their own.

When next I looked at the screen, I saw my tweet: “Ok, I’m in!”

Instant regret and paralyzing fear.

And now it’s here, August 1st, Doomsday.

Today I meet Jillian and so begins….The Jillian Beat Down.

(Pssssst…I’m doing a guest blogger stint today at Keeping Up with the Schultz family. Check it out here.)

I started this at the end of June…can I just say OMG, I seriously couldn't walk for like 2 days! But now I'm a pro, onto Shred2 already. I didn't lose the 20lbs in 30 days but I did lose some serious inches! Keep us posted!

Oh, we are totally anti-Jillian. I got to about day 3 of week 1 and quit. Yes, I'm a quitter. But, she's BRUTAL!! And, she made parts of me hurt that I didn't even know had feel-bads.

Jillian rocks my face off. I finally got to the point where I felt like I was no longer going to keel over and die on Level 1, so I've done Level 2 once, and I like it! Tough, but there's less jumping around, which I like. I split my workout loyalties between Jillian and her DVD's and the oh-so-sexy Gilad on Fit TV. Good LUCK! Can't wait to hear how you like it!

Don't be scared! Just do what you can, even if you can't make it through the entire workout the first day (I couldn't). Do what you can each day until you can do it all! That's how I did it and I still do the workouts even now after the 30 days were up! It works and I've lost weight 🙂 Good luck!
