My Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid was so excited to be freed from her packaging.
She even jumped right into the sink with her little pet blowfish, and waited for me to add some warm, soothing water for a spa-like experience.
She just smiled and smiled at me with her cute little button grin, and she showed me how adorable her “on land” hairstyle is as she fluttered her tail in anticipation of a swim.
But what she didn’t know was the kind of swim I had in mind…. a COLD one!
When her pet blowfish got wind of what was about to happen, he spit water out of his mouth in astonishment!
The shock of the icy cold water made her hair color change from a bright pink to a pretty purple color, but she quite liked it!
And once she got used to the frigid temperature, she changed into her swimsuit, relaxed, and enjoyed.
She also told me that after she swims, she needs to sit upright for a while so that the water drains out of her big floppy head.
So I asked her forgiveness while I gave her gigantic head a squeeze to get most of the water out, and then I perched her up on a pedestal the rest of the day for a good old fashioned brain drain.
Note: This silly little tale is just my way of showing you how the doll works. 😉 As you can see, you’ll get the best color change results when you use very, very cold water. If the temperature fluctuation isn’t as extreme, the color change won’t be as dramatic. Also, avoid extended direct sunlight because it will diminish the color change feature.
This precious little doll is just as adorable and entertaining as the Lalaloopsy Silly Hair Doll that I reviewed a couple months ago!
