The set has 30 big chunky pieces made for little hands, and they interlock in all kinds of different ways.
Since the toys are made for both indoor and outdoor use, I sat outside on a beautiful afternoon and played!
First I made a robot! Isn’t he the cutest little thing?
Then came a spaceship for my imaginary space travels.
Next I made a small fort, which would be perfect for stuffed animals, Barbies, dolls, or even pets. 😉
And finally I made a rocket ship to blast to the moon!
As you can see, there is so much you can build with the set. The pieces can be hooked together at angles or in straight lines, so it really adds to the possibilities.
It might be a little tough for the youngest ones to snap the pieces together snugly, but older children shouldn’t have too much trouble. It’s a good excuse for parents to get down on the floor and play too.
Buy It! Made for ages 4-10, the Little Tikes TikeStix Rocket Set retails for $34.99, but I did find it for less than $30 at Amazon.com.
One lucky reader will win a Little Tike Tike Stix Rocket Building set!
