This little lady is my mom.
She’s also a breast cancer survivor.
She’s as feisty as she is fragile, as goofy as she is serious and as loved as she could ever be.
She’s been through a lot in the last several years, and she’s hanging tough. She’s a fighter, and for that I am so incredibly grateful.
I need my mom.
We all need our moms…
and our daughters, our sisters, our friends.
And that’s why supporting breast cancer research is so important to me. I don’t want to lose any of my people, and I don’t want you to lose any of yours.
You’ve heard of Megabus.com, right? (They offer express bus service to more than 100 cities across North America.) Well, on January 19th, they’re donating $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every ticket sold (and they average 20,000 tickets sold daily).
To kick off the Megabus and Breast Cancer Research Fund campaign, there’s a pink, BCRF-branded Megabus that’s about to hit the road for New York City to attend a taping of The View. The pink bus will be christened by breast cancer survivors and their loved ones, and will depart from Megabus.com headquarters with company execs and BRCF leadership aboard.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting Megabus and the Breast Cancer Research Fund by purchasing your ticket on January 19th and cheering them on through social!
