10 Shows Are Better Than One

As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.

This post is sponsored by Netflix #StreamTeam. All opinions are my own and all poor Netflix decisions are my mom’s.

You guys, there’s something wrong with my mom.

She can’t just focus on one thing at once.

First of all, let me say that this ailment is not improved by having three cats, because they are always doing cute things when she’s trying to do important things. And second of all, let me say that her worst offense is starting A MILLION TV SHOWS AT ONCE and then slowly, frustratingly plugging away at each one. Like…can you just finish it so we can talk about it without me spoiling the ending?!

MOM. JOIN THE RESISTANCE. The rest of us start a show and then Netflix binge on it until we finish it. You are wrong.

If anyone else out there is like my mom and has too many shows going at once, I made this handy Binge List printable to help you keep track of your wrong-ness.

Netflix Binge List

I think this would be really cute to either laminate or put in a frame behind glass so that you can use a dry erase marker to keep it updated! Click on the image above to view it as a downloadable PDF. It’s 8.5 x 11 inches and perfectly printable.

Just write the channel in the first column (I started it off with Netflix, because of course), the show in the second column, and the season and episode numbers in the third column (e.g. S2/E4).

If you need some Netflix binge suggestions to fill out your Binge List, here’s what the Eat Move Make team has been watching lately:

Liz (this is too many shows):

  • Bloodline
  • The Keepers (bc Chanelle recommended it)
  • Weeds
  • Orange Is The New Black
  • Blacklist
  • How to Get Away With Murder
  • Grey’s Anatomy
  • Scandal
  • Quantico
  • Bates Motel

Chanelle (this is a reasonable amount of shows):

  • The Keepers
  • Chewing Gum
  • American Horror Story: Hotel

Stream Team Netflix

So, tell me: what was your most recent Netflix binge?

My mom is the same. She finds it hard to keep track of the shows she watches because they are just way too much for a little old lady. LOL. Seriously though. I think the printable would be great for her to have. That would also be beneficial for me because I would be less stressed out with her asking me “what happened to …? I haven’t seen her in the last episode,” only to find out that she was watching a different series.

We watch more movies than TV series. However, I know of some friends who spend entire weekends binge watching their favorite series on Netflix. I will share the printable with them. My best friend cousin is one. She’s into so many series that she gets the characters mixed up.

Am an HBO and NETFLIX hoor, lol!Am 56 years young, and I am more on top of entertainment than my 19 year old.Have ZERO patience for “regular”t.v.;due to the loud, annoying commercials.Loved all,but the last season of Horror Story,The Keepers was very intriguing to me,since I attended an all girl,Catholic, prep school in Wisconsin,(nothing scandalous there just odd and funny). So,The Keepers was good, but kept getting ?.Bloodlines first 2 seasons were AWESOME!Watching final season now,and so far is just o.k.and more predictable than the prior 2.Bates Motel is good and creepy.OITNB,was excellent in the first few seasons, but at times had a tad much of the gratuitous sex.Like we know what goes on,just don’t make it gross…Anyway,if you don’t have Netflix,I say go for it.Is cheap and has saved us a TON on not hitting theatres. You MUST watch The Place Beyond The Pines.Gosling is HOT!Making of a Murder has been a fan fave.I watched it,only due to the fact I lived in Manitowoc Wi. when all of that occurred.Have told MANY tales of THAT family!?ICKY!Hapoy Viewing All??

My list totally looks like your mom’s and I get away with it just fine. However, I usually watch with my husband each night. We get three or four episodes under out belts, and then move forward. We also don’t care if the other cheats and watches ahead, because things happen…like the need to finish the series. I do wish that I had a full weekend to just get everything done and over instead of HAVING to watch several nights until I’m done.

BTW – Chewing Gum is SO awkward it’s addicting!

We are totally caught up on Arrow, The Flash, DC Legends of Tomorrow, Riverdale & Blindspot.
So now we are watching “13 reasons”, Dark matter, the killjoys and a couple others that don’t come to mind.
Shesh, time to turn off the tv.
