I’ve partnered with Blue Diamond® as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

This party platter is full of luxurious flavors, colors and textures like seasonal fruit, shaved prosciutto and savory roasted and seasoned almonds. It has lots of snacks people love to nibble on at parties and it’s guaranteed to be a big hit.

To put together a grazing board or cheese board like this, there are a few key essentials but otherwise, it’s completely up to you!

How to Create the Ultimate Party Platter

Choose your party platter or cheese board.

I’m using a maple and cherry wine bottle-shaped cheese board, but I also like using round and rectangular party platters. Anything goes; just make sure to have enough yummies to fill up the cheese tray.

Select the meat and cheese.

I like to get a variety of cheese (aged, soft, firm, etc.) but since I personally can’t stand goat cheese, you’ll never find that on my party platter. Sorry, not sorry.

For this particular cheese tray, I chose Parmigiano Reggiano, Manchego, Herbal Mozzarella, Chipotle Gouda and an Aged Sharp Cheddar. I tried to cut each of them in different ways to keep things interesting.

For meat, select a variety of cured meats, smoked meats, and cold cuts and have them thinly sliced at the deli. My favorite is prosciutto!

bowls of nuts

Use a combination of unique and crowd-pleasing fruit.

Grapes go with just about everything and are essential on a grazing board but look for special seasonal fruits to feature as well. I found some beautiful fresh figs and pomegranates that add a lot of visual appeal when cut open.

Add some crunch to your party platter.

Nuts, crackers and breadsticks are always popular and are a key element to a successful cheese platter.

I’m a huge fan of Blue Diamond Snack Almonds because they pack a powerhouse of nutrition. (They’re certified by the American Heart Association as a heart-healthy food!) and are available in bold, unforgettable flavors that enhance the flavor of raw almonds.

Roasted and seasoned, the mouthwatering twist of sriracha and salt and vinegar almonds work beautifully on a party platter and add lots of snack enjoyment to a cheese tray.

‘Tis the season of giving! When you buy Blue Diamond Snack Almonds this year, a portion of sales will be donated to Toys for Tots, a wonderful organization bringing holiday joy to children in need throughout the USA.

Look for Blue Diamond Almonds at Walmart while you’re doing your weekly grocery shopping and checking things off your holiday gift list. Not only are you purchasing a heart-healthy snack, but you’re also contributing to a worthy cause.

Serve dips and sauces.

Fancy jams, hummus, mustards and honeys are always appealing on grazing boards and party platters and go well with a variety of ingredients.

Arrange the grazing board.

Place your cheese, meat and fruits first since they’ll take up the most space, place dips and sauces in bowls, and then place and sprinkle everything else around the large items, filling in all the spaces.

Mix and match colors, textures and sizes to balance out the board in a visually striking way. Have fun with it!
