Once upon a time my daughter liked her cat, Mony, and nobody else, and Mony liked my daughter and nobody else. My daughter even made a canvas print of her beloved feline.
But eventually there came a day when my daughter did begin to like someone else.
And this someone else had two cats of his own. My daughter liked them, but Mony did not, and she let them know it. She was rather intimidating and hissy and mean.
Now back to that photo up there…
It’s so realistic that when my daughter hung it up on the wall of her new castle, Mony’s new cat nemesis, Penny, came into the room to see what was going on and stopped DEAD in her tracks, staring wide-eyed at the print for a minute before slowly, carefully backing out of the room.
She was absolutely terrified when she recognized Mony’s face.
And Mony took the throne. Forever.
