I hate cleaning. Actually, I despise it. But I sure love the aftermath. A clean and fresh-smelling house makes me happy, happy, happy. When my house is really clean, sometimes I’ll just stand there looking at it and smiling like a fool. The #giftofclean is a magic gift indeed.
Over the last couple of months as I’ve been working with Scotch-Brite, I’ve become particularly fond of a couple of their cleaning tools, so I thought I’d share.
Scotch-Brite Shower Scrubber – Since I have horrible carpal tunnel syndrome, this long-handled scrubber is such a help for me. It lets me get some torque behind my scrub without having to squeeze the bloody life out of my hands in the process.
I just spray a cleaning formula onto the fiberglass walls to soften the soap scum, and then put the shower scrubber to good use. It’s removes the yuck easily, extends up to 2 feet in length and has a non-scratch, replaceable scouring head.
Greener Clean Dishwand – I’m not nearly as “green” as I should be because I do use chemical-based cleaners (bad girl), but many of my cleaning tools are eco-friendlier, so there’s that. Over 50% of the fibers on this dishwand are plant-based.
It doesn’t scratch as it cleans, and it stores dish liquid right inside the handle. It’s so convenient, but more importantly, it also enables me to get some leverage when I’m cleaning those difficult to wash pots and pans. The shape makes it easy to work into corners and curved spaces too.
If you haven’t tried the Scotch-Brite line of cleaning products, you’re missing out. There’s a heck of a lot more than these two goodies, and I’d love to give you the chance to try them all out! Enter the giveaway to win the Scotch-Brite portfolio!
