Ingredients
Crust

stick butter
softened

cup
shortening

brown sugar

cup
white sugar

egg

flour

Filling

almond paste
crumbled or grated

sugar

eggs

almond extract
Icing

cup
powdered sugar

soft margarine

water
or milk

drops food coloring of choice

Instructions
To make crust:
Mix together crust ingredients and press 2/3 of the dough into a 9"x13" greased pan.
To make filling:
Mix together filling ingredients, and spread over crust. Crumble remaining 1/3 of the crust dough on top.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until lightly golden.
To make icing:
Mix together ingredients with a whisk. Drizzle over bars.
