Preheat oven to 375° F. Brown ground beef and saute onions together; drain. Add taco seasoning mix, salsa and cheese; mix well.
On pizza pan, arrange crescent rolls into a circle leaving center of pan open. Overlap crescnet rolls with points of triangles hanging on outside of pan. Mound beef mixture onto ring of crescent rolls. Fold points over beef mixture onto center of pan, pressing into inside edge of dough
Bake 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with grated cheese, chopped onion, chopped tomato, sour cream and salsa as desired.
Notes
Make it spicier by using a dash of hot sauce and/or spicy taco mix and salsa.Tips for Using Crescent Roll Dough:
The most important thing is that the dough is cold before getting started, so avoid taking it out of the refrigerator until you're ready to work with it. Crescent roll dough tends to be very sticky.
Gently separate the triangles of dough along the perforation marks. It tears easily.
Try to keep the dough triangles uniformly shaped. (That being said, don't worry if you have a few wonky triangles. It's practically unavoidable.)
Line your pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
