Use a colander to rinse the beans thoroughly and then cut or snap off the tough, fibrous ends.
Put the beans in a bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic, cracked black pepper and flaked sea salt. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the fridge for at least an hour.
Add the green beans to a grilling basket and place on a pre-heated grill. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To steam green beans on the grill: Season the green beans as desired, then place inside two layers of aluminum foil creating a pouch. Let marinate in fridge for at least an hour, then place the foil pouch on a preheated grill and cook for about 15 minutes, or until green beans are tender-crisp.
