Spritz Cookies
Spritz cookies are small, crisp, and buttery with a light snap. They hold clean, detailed shapes from the cookie press and can be decorated however you'd like.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon almond extract (or vanilla)
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Mix butter, sugar, egg yolks and almond extract well. Gradually add flour until thoroughly mixed. Place dough inside a cookie press with desired shape. Press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate as desired. Bake 6-8 minutes or until set but not brown. Carefully remove to cooling rack.
