Universal Orlando and a Very Fun Daughter

Sometimes the stars align perfectly, like when my daughter and I both happened to be in Florida at the exact same time a few months ago. And oops on me for not talking much about the immense amounts of fun we had together at Universal Orlando.

I love her.

First we popped into Islands of Adventure to go see The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The lines were painfully long because it was Spring Break so we passed on tasting Butter Beer and making magic wands (gasp),  but we refused to miss the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride.

I especially loved how the spiders scared the crap out of my daughter.

And how she kept me entertained while waiting in line.

After that, we made a beeline for Universal Studios. The crowds were way smaller there, so we were able to do everything we wanted without much waiting.

When have you ever seen the streets of New York empty? In Florida, that’s where.

We went to Twister first. My daughter reacted to the special effects appropriately, don’t you think? 😉

When I get old, I’m going to pedal a bicycle full of flowers just like this to my daughter’s house.

Our favorite ride of all was Revenge of The Mummy. I think we rode it four different times that day.  I don’t want to give it away if you’ve never been there, but it catches you off guard every single time.

I’ve been told we rode this Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, but I have no memory of that whatsoever. Fo’ the best?

We also made time for some campy cheese. We love us some Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

She’s such a buttinski.

Krusty has a big mouth. I don’t. She does. Snap a pic.

Alas, the day is done but we’ll be back, Universal.

And for that I apologize in advance.
