I grew up with the classic sloppy joe sandwich and I’ll always love that, but summer calls for BBQ, so  I decided to make BBQ sloppy joes, and they were gooooood.

There are only 5 ingredients by the way, and it took me about 15 minutes to put together so it’s an easy sloppy joes recipe!

Since BBQ and pork were born to be married, I used ground pork and I’m so glad I did. Deeeelicious!

Here’s how easy they are to make:

On the stove, cook the pork and then drain off any extra fat and liquid. Then add diced onions and cook the mixture a couple more minutes to soften the onions.

After that, it’s as easy as adding a cup of KC Masterpiece Original BBQ sauce and heating the mixture through.  Toast some hamburger buns and top with the sloppy BBQ sauce, some spicy pickles and onions and dig in!

Sloppy Joes are a classic American favorite, but with the smoky richness of a great BBQ sauce, they’re turned into something more!

What’s your favorite way to use BBQ sauce?
