Gifts for Your Hard-to-Shop-For Guy

As I shop for Christmas gifts for a very hard-to-shop-for dude, I thought I’d put together a gift guide to help other folks who are in the same boat I am! So without further ado, here’s my list of gift ideas for guys who are hard to shop for (and didn’t make a Christmas list for Santa)!

Gift ideas for guys who are hard to shop for!

A gadget-y water bottle

Guys love gadgets. (Well, mine does anyway.) Why not give them a gadget that helps them be healthy? The Alex water bottle is ev-ry-thang. It unscrews in the middle. So you can easily clean it. Why had no one invented this before now?

It’s made of food-grade stainless steel so it won’t collect grime like a coated aluminum bottle might. The plastic parts, like the cap and middle threading are made from BPA-free plastic. The top portion is powder-coated and the bottom has a removable silicone sleeve for easy gripping and a little insulation.

It holds 26 ounces, and is the perfect size to conceal an entire beer bottle inside…just sayin’.

 A stainless steel tumbler

Artic Tumbler

These RTIC tumblers keep hot beverages hot and cold ones cold. They fit into car cupholders and the brushed stainless steel has a masculine look. I like the idea of including a personalized leather wrap with it too!

RTIC also makes lowball sized cups, great for cocktails! (Me and my guy like to use them for margaritas on the rocks.)

A thoughtfully themed stocking

a superman stockingMy boyfriend loves Superman, so this year I’m putting together a Superman-themed stocking for him. I’ll include a few things that fit the theme, like a Superman pez dispenser, and stuff the rest with other candy he likes. (Don’t worry, he doesn’t read my blog so the secret is safe.)

 A manly candle

They may not admit it, but guys love a great-smelling candle just as much as we do. Any candle that comes in a masculine-looking container is fair game at my house. I’ve always wanted a Baies candle, so maybe I’ll sneak this one into my boyfriend’s stocking this year.

Since we are both transplants from other states, I’ve also been looking at these Homesick Candles – there’s a different scent for each state!

P.S. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, this candle from Target is just as cool-looking.

A monthly subscription for something he loves

Bean Box monthly coffee subscription

I love the idea of gifting a monthly subscription because it reminds the gift-ee each month that you care about them! I got my brother a craft beer subscription from CraftBeerClub.com one year and he loved it!

Other ideas: monthly box of “man stuff” from SprezzaBox (get 10% off with code EATMOVEMAKE), coffee of the month subscription from Bean Box, wine of the month club from GoldMedalWineClub.com

A helpful robot

a gadgetHave you seen the commercials for this?! It’s a helper robot similar to a Roomba, but instead of vaccumming, it mops! A MOPPING ROBOT. It’s a gadget, it will do the cleaning for him, and if you get it in black, it looks pretty darn cool.

So, what are you getting your dude for Christmas this year? Leave your ideas in the comments!
