Mincemeat Cookies
Soft and chewy old-fashioned cookies with a comforting blend of warm spices and a delectable orange glaze drizzle.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 9 oz None Such Classic Original Condensed Mincemeat
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Glaze
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons orange juice adjust to desired consistency
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375℉. Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
- Beat shortening and sugar with mixer on high speed until fluffy. Blend in eggs.
- In medium bowl, stir flour, baking soda and salt together. Gradually add to shortening mixture, mixing well. Stir in mincemeat.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonsful 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool completeley.
Glaze
- Whisk powdered sugar and orange juice together in small bowl. Drizzle or spread over cooled cookies.
