I went to the Cherry Point Air Show last weekend, my very first air show ever, and wow, was I ever impressed! The pilots need an incredible amount of skill and focus to be able to perform their maneuvers so beautifully yet safely. I was pretty much blown away.
I loved it so much that I stayed the entire day, beginning to end. The aerobatics were thrilling (and sometimes terrifying) but I couldn’t look away!
I had no idea how fast some of the jets could go either, and consequently how loud they can be. Holy smokes!
I took a lot of photos and videos while I was there so I could share it all with my family and friends. Actually, I did some sharing on social media from the show too. If you’re following me, you may have seen some of what I captured… like my visit to the AT&T GoPhone booth.
They had the coolest 3D game you could play, but since I get motion sickness, I played the handheld version. It was still really fun, and guess what? I won a prize — a t-shirt which they made on the spot for me.
