Green Swamp Punch for Halloween

I think I love Halloween more as an adult than I did as a child because I can decorate the house, dress up in a costume and make fun Halloween party drinks and snacks.

I can even eat all the candy in the world, and my mom can’t stop me.

Because of my tragic candy-quota’d childhood, I now choose to give all the candy in the world to the trick-or-treaters visiting my door.

So there.

Meanwhile, I nosh and sip on other goodies like this green swamp punch for Halloween.

Green Swamp Punch in glasses

It’s a Halloween recipe my 2nd grade teacher made for the class once upon a yesteryear, and it’s perfectly ghastly… in a good way.

Plus, it’s green! Ya gotta love a ghastly shade of green, right?

If you’re serving lots of people, you may want to double the recipe and mix it all up in a punch bowl. In my case, I mixed it in a pretty pitcher.

But either way, add the soda right before serving to keep the fizz fizzy.

I agree, I like Halloween more as an adult so that I can give out the candy the way I wanted to receive it as a kid! Also, we live in the city, but when we used to take our so to trick or treat in suburbia with his cousins, I loved how they were so involved they actually dressed up their houses! Thanks for this delicious drink recipe!
