I received a review product for this post.
This smooth and creamy raspberry pomegranate smoothie has a bold fruity flavor with a hint of tartness. It’s delicious, served as a twist on breakfast or lunch or as a special dessert, and it’s ready in less than 5 minutes!
Why this Recipe Works
- Perfect balance of sweet and tart.
- Smooth and creamy.
- Just thick enough. It can easily be sipped through a straw.
- Super easy to make!
Ingredients & Swaps
- Frozen raspberries – You could also try substituting blackberries, red currants, blueberries, or plums. Adding a banana along with the raspberries would also be delicious.
- Pomegranate juice – Cranberry juice would also work.
- Vanilla frozen yogurt – I wouldn’t use fat-free but you could probably use a light variety.
Equipment
You’ll need a good strong blender like the Hamilton Beach Juicer Mixer Grinder. I received it for a review last year, and I still reach for it all the time.
It comes with .5, 1, and 1.5-liter stainless steel mixing jars, so no matter what I’m blending, grinding, or juicing, I’ve got the suitable container for the job, and I love how quickly it handles it (2.2 HP motor).
One of my favorite features is a temperature indicator on the motor, so you don’t risk overheating and burning out the motor (one of the main reasons blenders stop working).
