I’m so excited about this strawberry lavender smoothie!  Have you ever tried lavender as a flavoring in food? It has a delicate, sweet taste and it complements the flavor of strawberries perfectly. Yum!

I couldn’t resist sharing this refreshing beverage as my kickstart to #BrunchWeek this year. When I was testing the recipe, my son took one sip and claimed the rest of the glass for himself. It truly is a yummy drink!

And it’s so easy to make a strawberry lavender smoothie! I used lavender syrup from the best of the best – Torani and I blended it with strawberries, milk, vanilla and honey. It took about five minutes to have two of these delicious strawberry lavender smoothies ready in these pretty Stella crystal highball glasses from JoyJolt.

I’m really happy with how they turned out, and now I want to make lavender everything!

As much as I love the smell of lavender, I can’t ever bring myself to consume it. This smoothie is so pretty though!

I was unaware that there is a lavender syrup on the market, it sounds intriguing. The lavender around the glass is a beautiful touch!

The best thing about brunch is that I don’t have to get up early for it :). Plus I can have breakfast or lunch dishes (or both!) depending on my mood. I tend toward sweeter dishes like Belgian waffles or crepes but sometimes I crave a savory dish like an omelet.

Ooooh, those syrups all look delicious and I can think of so many things to do with them. Lavender is probably the one that I’d try first and pinning this so I can find it later.

This looks like a very delicious drink to make and enjoy. I use essential oils all the time to cook with and make drinks. Never heard of these syrups before so will have to check them out.
