One of my favorite summertime treats is this delicious Strawberry Cream Cheese Jello pie. I like to serve a refreshing and cool dessert at summer gatherings, especially during the steamy months of July and August.

We’re deep in the heart of barbecue season now, and summer entertaining and outdoor fun make it such a happy time of year. I have either burgers, hot dogs, ribs or chicken cooking on my charcoal grill nearly every day for a family dinner or a backyard party. I simply can’t get enough of it.

Of course, dessert is yet another summer essential, and when it’s as easy to make as this strawberry cream cheese jello pie, you can’t go wrong!

Strawberry Cream Cheese Jello Pie

Filled with fresh strawberries and topped with a mixture of berries, it’s not only a delectable dessert but beautiful too, and best of all, it’s really easy to make!

The strawberry JELL-O and fresh summer berries add just the right amount of sweetness to the cream cheese.

Each cool and creamy forkful will leave you smiling.

Just went to bed after cleaning up the mess I made making this pie. I fumbled it while trying to putting it in the frig. I tasted the filling and it was ok. Hope it’s better tomorrow but prob won’t bother w this recipe again.

I hope it turns out well for you. I’m sorry it spilled when transferring to the fridge. That’s absolutely no fun! I usually have a little liquid left over that I can’t fit into the pie shell when I make this because I’m afraid of overfilling and sloshing. Of course, sometimes I slosh anyhow. 😉 Good luck!

My grandmother made cream cheese jello all the time. The key to easy mixing is mix the jello with a spoon into softened cream cheese, making a paste. THEN add the cup of boiling water and stir to dissolve. Perfect every time with no clumps of cream cheese.
Your pie looks delicious, I will try it very soon!!

I made the mistake and mixed the cold water before mixing the cream cheese and jello mix so I ended up with white clumps from the cream cheese ☹️ Lesson learned !

I tried this jello cake out for my family, we all loved it. It was a little hard to blend the jello water with the cream cheese but just keep whisking & it will mix. The only thing I would add would be strawberry extract to give it more flavor because the filling was a little bland. But other than that it was still delicious! Goes great with a little bit of Marshmello puff.

This dessert is the best thing to serve during those hot and sweltering summer days. The combination of sweetness and coolness brings great relief for people who are affected by the summer heat. The dessert dish is quite a creative piece of food that mixes cream cheese with Jello-O pie.

HELP! Just made this and with adding all that water, it seems to be too diluted and does not fit in the pie crust! Are your sure about adding another 1 1/2 cup water after having added 2 cups boiling water?

      July 13, 2016 at 10:43 am

Oh my goodness! For a 3 ounce box, it should be 1 cup boiling initially and then 1/2 cup cold after that. If you pour the mixture into a bowl and add another 3 ounce box to the one you already used, you should be able to salvage it with a lot of mixing to be sure the new gelatin dilutes properly.

Oh nooooooo! It will be very liquid, just like jello is before it begins to gel so don’t panic. Also, it’s VERY hard to get the cream cheese to be completely smooth. You’ll probably see little bits of it but it will still taste delicious.

Also, depending on the pie crust size you’re using, you may have a little more filling than you need. You can just pour it in a ramekin and chill that separately for a snack. 🙂

It is a total of 11/2 cups of water. You dissolve the jello in one cup of boiling water and then you add 1/2 cup of water after you beat in the cream cheese. The directions are pretty straight forward. I am not sure why you thought you were supposed to add another 1 1/2 cups of water.

This pie sounds so good. I like serving sugar free chocolate pie with whipped topping too. It is fairly low calorie too. I want to try this pie now. 🙂

No bake desserts are a life saver especially on busy nights when the kids are craving for something sweet! This is so easy to make and I love that you used strawberries, that’s a crowd favorite and something that the kids enjoy eating!

This strawberry cream cheese jello pie sounds amazing. I don’t like cream cheese but I would be willing to try it because the jello and the whipped cream may make the cream cheese hard to taste. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
