As Thanksgiving approaches, I look forward to the warmth of family, the comfort of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes and the laziness and relaxation of Thanksgiving day itself. When I find myself drifting off into a Thanksgiving afternoon nap, I know I’ve had a perfect day.

Thanksgiving is such a kickback holiday. What’s not to love about a day made for thankfulness and food?

A bowl filled with different types of Thanksgiving food

Most of us have a Thanksgiving dinner menu with treasured recipes that we look forward to enjoying year in, year out, and it makes those dishes extra special because of that. But, if you’re anything like me, you crave those flavors throughout the year.

So, I decided to create a recipe that has the essence of Thanksgiving flavors without all of the work — it’s so easy and it tastes like Thanksgiving! In fact, that’s what I named it — Tastes Like Thanksgiving Meatballs.

Tastes Like Thanksgiving Meatballs

tastes like Thanksgiving meatballs

Start with a few simple ingredients and some STOVE TOP Stuffing in Homestyle Herb flavor (or your favorite variety).

main ingredients for turkey meatballs

Mix everything together and then shape into meatballs for baking. When they come out of the oven, they already look delicious…. but we’re not done yet!

baked meatballs recipe

Put the meatballs in a hot bath of turkey gravy and let them simmer away while you get some noodles ready.

Serve those delicious meatballs on top of a bed of egg noodles, and add some cranberry sauce on the side for an extra pop of flavor.

What a good idea to bake the meatballs. I’m sure that’s a lot healthier than doing over the stove and much less labor intensive to heat them evenly.

Egg noodles are my favorite type of noodle. Mixed with meatballs? I just might be drooling over here. A side note, your ground meat looks so fresh! I’ve never seen it look so pretty before.

Same! There’s nothing like the combo of egg noodles and meatballs. It’s my favorite comfort food combo.
